Update Problem

Recommended Posts

Not assuming, just checking.  I downloaded it yesterday -- after the updates -- and it didn't have them then.  Maybe now.

Downloaded again and installed.  Still older version.  Did the delete and update of Operations Center and this time the update file is there, but trying to run it manually or from the Operations Center results in the error saying the file is corrupt or unreadable.  PMDG support hasn't replied to my ticket other than to say to do the Operations Center delete dance.  I told them that didn't work.

I am having the same problem. Any update on if this was fixed for you @Bob_Z ? I'll try uninstalling/reinstalling the Ops Center. I have uninstalled/reinstalled the PMDG777 to no avail! I've also turned off my anti-virus, and I deleted the previous updated files and allowed the Ops Center to re-download the files. Nothing is working! Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you!

FYI - BUILD 1.10.8448 (Released 12OCT17) - trying to upgrade my T7 to this version.

Notice Bob's post was in June.  You can assume that he did have his problem resolved working with PMDG Product Support, which i recommend you give a try.  The notion that you can reinstall the OC is not quite correct, there is a way to remove files then force an update of the OC and I'm sure PMDG Product Support will provide you the details.

For what it's worth, the problem was resolved my uninstalling ALL PMDG aircraft and starting again from scratch.  It worked.  Why? I don't know.

Probably because the version on your system was well out of date. Uninstalling/reinstalling put a newer version on, compatible with the updater.

It was the previous version before the update, not well out of date at all.
