June 27, 20178 yr Today I created the Pilot2ATC first IFR flight plan. I have Navigraph 1707. The flight plan is created in Pilot2ATC looking fine. I export to P3D v4. When I try and load it into P3d v4 I see it listed but it won't load. Two flight plans listed. LSGG-LSZH.pln and LSGG_LSZHP2AFPL.pln. Neither will load from P3D v4. Thank You. Bill McCracken
June 27, 20178 yr Commercial Member Bill, If you can give me the details of the flight plan I'll try and duplicate the problem. SIDs, STARs, Approaches, Airways and waypoints in addition to the LSGG and LSZH would be needed. Thanks, Dave
June 27, 20178 yr Commercial Member I found the problem and fixed it for the next update. It was a naming issue in the export. Thanks, Dave
June 28, 20178 yr Author Dave, Does that mean I can't create a flight plan in P2A that will work in P3D v4? For now. Thank You. Bill
June 28, 20178 yr Commercial Member No, the problem was in the SID route in this particular case. Try choosing a different SID. Or if you want to edit the .pln file directly, just change the id and identifier of the 5th waypoint. The id was "Turn-to-GG602", change that to "To-GG602". The identifier was "DirectTurnToGG602", change that to "ToGG602" Dave
June 28, 20178 yr Author Dave, I have tried several other SID's. Same problem P3D v4 won't load the flight plan. I made sure I deleted all flight plans in P3D Files folder. Before trying each SID. My current SID is BALS6A with BALSI transition. Thank You. Bill
June 29, 20178 yr Commercial Member Have you tried any of the SIDs without curves in them? That was the problem with the original SID. The BELU5A should work. Also, you need to avoid the curves in STARs and Approaches. SO use the ILS to RW 16 at LSZH without a transition (vectors to IF). I just got that one to load in 2208. This should all be fixed in 2219. Dave
June 29, 20178 yr Author Dave, I made the changes you recommended. The Flight Plan loaded and I'm flying it now. I'll wait for your next release 2219. Thank You. Bill
