July 3, 20178 yr Hello Dave, I'm enjoying every day your great piece of software and still discovering new possibilities. Just a suggestion for future developments: it would be great to have the possibility to communicate with the ground crew for the pushback procedure ("checks completed, pin installed","release parking brakes",etc). Regards, Fedor
July 3, 20178 yr You may have a look to Multi Crew Experience product which is handling very well these aspects. It handles as well GSX crew if you use it. See the related Commercial sub-forum. July 3, 20178 yr Author Thanks for the tip, but I want to run the software on a networked pc and that is not possible with multicrewxp as far as I know. It's also a bit too feature rich for me, as I only want to use the ground crew communication. The multicrew part is no option for me as I have a hardware cockpit. But thanks anyway. Always appreciate help. Fedor
July 3, 20178 yr Commercial Member Thanks for the suggestion. I'll put it on the longer range possible expansions. It's really outside the scope of the current project, but you never know when it might become possible. Dave
July 4, 20178 yr Not sure if this covers your request exactly but if you're on X-Plane, after watching the videos MCE seems to me to be an extremely fancy version of X-Checklist which is a free add-on. I have extremely interactive checklists setup for my FF777. It can be set up with copilot voice prompts, and responses. Although knowing if the "pin is installed" isn't covered, with a little clever programming, you can write the responses to say what you want to hear and at the right times. Removing/installing chocks and pushback truck interaction is included in the checklist I wrote for my plane. All you really need to know are the datarefs of your aircraft and you can set it up as detailed as you like. http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/files/file/20785-xchecklist-linwinmac3264/ p
