July 15, 20178 yr Whenever I create and install a new livery in PMDG 737NGX for Prepar3d V4 THen start the sim and select that livery, It causes an immediate CTD. All liveries do this. . .
July 15, 20178 yr I think you answered you question. If you created the livery, then it is somehow incompatible with the latest version of the 737NGX. It is my understanding the old liveries installed for the 737NGX no longer work. Not sure where I read that though. Jim Young | AVSIM Online! - Simming's Premier Resource! July 15, 20178 yr This is exactly the post I needed to see this morning!!! My last flight I saved my default flight to the AA livery straight from the PMDG Op Center and after that P3Dv4 wouldn't start. Just a splash screen, a quick loading bar and poof... nothing Went back into the Op Center and removed ALL liveries. Opened P3D, got an insignificant error but after that, I'm back. Thanks for saving me hours of research and troubleshooting guys! July 15, 20178 yr Author Thanks for the response guys, I guess all new liveries will have to be created?
July 15, 20178 yr For me, it worked when I switched to the aircraft in the sim itself. Liveries looked great. It was when it became my default plane (with livery) that P3D wouldn't start So, I believe that if you set your default flight with a stock plane or PMDG livery, you'll still be able to switch to one of the liveries you downloaded from the operations center Brian Laird Too tall to fly for real, so I sim instead i7 6700K | EVGA GTX1070 (8GB VRAM) | 16 GB DDR4 RAM | Asus Z170-A MoBo | HTC Vive | Saitek x52 Pro, Multi-panel and instrument panels Prepar3d v4 | Have but don't fly: FSX, FSW, XP11, FS2 (retired now that P3DV4 is out)
