Can't use P3dV4 version

Featured Replies

Good day,

I've been using fs2crew 737 reboot since fsx and p3dv3 but i'm having problems with the new version in V4.

Installed ok as admin and i can open the fscrew window on the simulator.

Voice recognition activated succesfully.

But when i talk to ground or checklist, no reaction.

I can't see the green band activated with the words i say.

When i close the simulator once i've tryied to use the fs2crew software, the simulator stays open forever.

I must ctrl+alt+supr to close it.

My microphone is working and i can chat via skype, ivao, and so on...

Please help!

I think I know what your issue is here.  P3D V4 has extra sound options that the previous versions didn't have.

Go into P3D V4 "Options", go to "Sound" in the General Section.

Check your "Windows Sound Devices" options.

Voice Capture should be "default".

Cheers,

Good day Bryan,

Voice capture was on default.

I've changed to the microphone and back to default without any positive result.

What could i try?

Maybe this is it....

Remember, if Voice stays on, that means the Speech Recognition system is running fine.  The problem is somewhere else on your system.

Try this:

Question: I'm running Windows 10.  The system is not hearing my voice.

Answer:

Uninstall Asus Sonic Studio if you have it installed.  That solved it for one user.  Another user had an audio program called Nahimic running on his laptop.  Exiting that software prior to loading FS solved the issue for him.

If using a laptop, you may need to disable your built in mic on the laptop in order for your headset mic to be detected.

Yeah! You can mark this solved.

Uninstalling Sonicstudio solved for me.

Thank you!
