July 30, 20178 yr The way it was reacting to the airflow (closing up when the Osprey had forward speed), I'd say something mechanical had broken. If it was a hydraulic link I'd hazard a guess that it would flag up a warning as it would be pumping out fluid (and we'd have seen it in the video considering the high pressure that aircraft hydraulics run at (usually thousands of psi isn't it?) July 30, 20178 yr Showed it to a buddy of mine who works on them at RAF Milsenhall. He says the door linkage is out of adjustments and have since fixed the problem.
