Fascinating bit of kit, but what was wrong with the port mainwheel door??

We have a bunch we're I'm at and never seen a gear door do that before. Looks like it's out of adjustment or something broke.

The way it was reacting to the airflow (closing up when the Osprey had forward speed), I'd say something mechanical had broken. If it was a hydraulic link I'd hazard a guess that it would flag up a warning as it would be pumping out fluid (and we'd have seen it in the video considering the high pressure that aircraft hydraulics run at (usually thousands of psi isn't it?)

Showed it to a buddy of mine who works on them at RAF Milsenhall. He says the door linkage is out of adjustments and have since fixed the problem. He said the maintenance guys at the air show were cringing when they say that, LOL
