I've been sat on the gate for 35 mins and the fs2crew is on +18 I can't click it like in old version to lower it but it's not counting down any ideas

You can't forward forward the time down while the FO is performing his main pre-flight flow.  His flow takes a few minutes to do.

You can fast forward the time down on the Pre-Flight page on the Secondary Panel... press the LSK beside the time... also right click the down arrow on the Main Panel.

I'm not sure I follow.

If you run the Pre-Flight events, the time will go down by itself.

But you can't fast forward the time while the FO is doing his main preflight flow.

 

I also have the same issue. The count down on the 737ngx reboot for p3d v4 does not automatically count down, im having to manually change the counter to activate the different sections of the preflight. This is a fresh install today, with the newest version of FSUIPC as well. 

 

I think I can guess the issue.

You're somehow firing the FS/P3D "Pause" event.

Maybe you have shared key command?  Start looking there.  That's the only thing I can think of.
