Cursor in VC View

Recommended Posts

Seems like a long running problem. Running FSX SE with PMDG 737. Sometimes, with no apparent pattern, cursor no longer changes to a hand to control knobs, switches, etc.. Can sometimes get it to come back via view changes, zoom changes, etc., other times not.  Any fixes or known "don't do's" to keep it from happening?

Starting on page 52 of the manual (click on FSX PMDG 737 in Ops Center and then documentation), it changes based on what knob you are pushing or pulling and whether you click the left button or the right button on the mouse.

Best regards,

Jim

This happened sometimes with the FSL A320 as well. The reason was the viewpoint was too far back and "in the seat". Moving the viewpoint forward cured the problem. It might work with the NGX too although, personally, I have never had that problem with that particular add-on (NGX).

Thanks Jim and Tony for the replies.  I am aware of the hand/arrow symbols and what they represent and how they function, and not being "in the seat". My issue is even when zoomed back in the cursor still will not operate anything in the VC cockpit.
