August 5, 20178 yr Just a quick question for the masses. I just moved to P3dv3 with a fresh install. I did a few test flights, everything worked fine. I then installed MT 6.0a for VATSIM model matching. Now p3d crashes everytime i start it. I deleted and uninstalled MT but p3d still crashes. any ideas? EDIT It seems to be an issue causing an ntdll eror because now im getting them in FS9 and ive had no issues for years...
August 5, 20178 yr Moderator you could try reinstalling the client. Many times that will clear the issue. Also, search this forum for posts about MT6 and some fs9 models which need to be deleted. Vic RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160
August 5, 20178 yr Author I actually completely deleted MT from my pc after i did an uninstall. Whats weird, is if i click "save scenario", it asks, 'are you sure you want to exit P3d?". Its like a menu glitch
August 5, 20178 yr Moderator Reinstall the P3D client. Vic RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160
August 5, 20178 yr Just a quick question... after installing MT6.0a, did you rename the file MyTraffic\scenery\MyTrafficmil.bgl to MyTrafficmil.bgl.passive? That specific .BGL file has been documented to cause CTDs. Just a thought... August 5, 20178 yr Author yeah i did. I found those posts on google. This one is weird. Whats odd is I had no issues with the setup I have until MT was installed. Also funny is, now Im getting NTdll crashes on FS9 as well which i wasnt before. And I deleted all those bgl files before i uninstalled mt 6.0 Edited August 5, 20178 yr by Amnmaddox
August 5, 20178 yr Author Well, to provide with an update...I found a post here : http://www.prepar3d.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=123976 I deleted the folders as prescribed and it fixed the issue. The only thing I can think of is MT 6.0 screws with something in the scenery config files. Once I deleted these, P3D did a rebuild and works like a charm so far...
August 6, 20178 yr search the forum and delete some aircraft folders....also go to the folder MyTraffic Professional / MyTraffic / Scenery / and rename the file " Mytrafficmil.bgl to Mytrafficmil.bgl.orig " Hope this helps ...
