Local time and time zones

Hi folks, 

happily I am on may way as a historic flight KLM601 EHAM--EGPF--CYQX--KIDL (I assume they flew to Idlewild, now KJFK). 

Current leg is EGPF--CYQX. 

The clock on the captain's side as well as the GPS show local time. 

Flying while crossing time zones this is rather confusing. 

Could this be switched to GMT, as also the true aircraft won't adjust the time automatically? Or at least in the GNS430? 

(The FSX option in Settings--General only takes the computer's time for free flight, no effect.)

The chronometer has a click spot for changing between local and utc... I don't recall exactly since I only used it once to change to utc but click around the clock.  I have no idea how the GPS works, they didn't have those back in the day.

;-) I wanted to fly the same route but I'm currently stuck with recurrent CTD.

maybe not in FSX. Cannot find it.

Yeah, however, the local times seem to be different. 

Gander goes UTC -2:30. 

Not sure on whether they used that on in the 50s?

Well, the 1954 timeplan says "New York Int. Airport". Isn't that Idlewood?

I think that was on Flight1 MD80, was it not? 

Here on the DC-6 I haven't found it (yet).

Honestly, there are only two knobs. Turn on tool tips.  The left knob, right click will toggle between local and utc.

right, two knobs,

but the left one toggles between local FSX time and a stop watch, which the right one start/stops (no reset)

Hmm in P3D it works as expected.. maybe the gauge file for FSX has a problem.  Please submit this on a trouble ticket to PMDG Product Support.
