I partage your doubt... And want to see it, on mine friend screen, who just  bought Global Ultimate.

I purchased FS Global Next Generation download version this weekend, installed it and it looks great.  I don't regret the decision.  I set my mesh to 1m and I believe I read somewhere to put the tessellation up as well.  I don't have that maxed though.

I don't regret the purchase at all.
