Hi guys.

 

Trying to get to grips with the 777 FMC, I'm importing pre made RTE's from http://onlineflightplanner.org/

and they load into the FMC and the auto pilot follows it just fine, however the last waypoint on the nav display insn't linking to the destination airport and it just stops, once I did something to make the last way point link the magenta line to the destination airport but I can't remember how I did it.

Anybody know what I'm missing?

I recommend flying the tutorial flights, they will will walk you through step by step.

Just an incomplete understanding of routing. That's all. As Chris mentioned, make sure to run through the tutorial, and be sure to sign your posts.

Welcome. If you're looking for info, there's a bunch of it here. All the same, the tutorial - complete with pictures of everything going on - is your best bet here, just so we're all on the same page.

Hi, thanks for the replies, I've sussed it, I watched your Youtube tutorial and it turns out it was casued by Route Discontinuity.
