AI Separation Program Problem Query

Featured Replies

I have a problem with the AI Separation Program, using the settings of 6,8,5,20,8,35 I also have the same problem, when I use AI Smooth and AI Separation together, using Dave Sheffield's recommended settings.

AI Traffic Conflicts that are moved, simply disappear completely, and don't start the approach again, to the given airport, in this case Amsterdam Schipol. Like is supposed to happen in AI Separation. Can anybody help me find a solution ?

Any help would be appreciated. Regards Eddie

I don't like using AI Separation. It errors out all the dang time.

Try making AI Separation the very last thing you open. Have your flight loaded and any FS related programs running before opening AI Separation and see if it still errors out.

I found the best way is to start in this order (personally):

Steam

Active Sky Next

FSX

Then AI Sep

I load the flight and as it's loading I connect the AI Sep and then retrieve data. It usually starts 90% of the time. Thanks, Skywatcher.

No probs. I found something throws both AI separation and AI Smooth. The cure is to find a starting sequence that works with everything FS related you run. It's still possible to have AI Separation throw an error now and again but you will find it will simply start working at some point on it's own.
