August 20, 20178 yr I did several day landings on LOWW runway 34 and there were no problems while at the first landing at night, about 10 miles from the same track there was a CTD. This is the log of Windows Event that indicates the symmap.dll module as the cause of the CTD: Prepar3D.exe 4.0.28.21686 594a7255 symmap.dll 4.0.28.21686 594a71d6 c0000005 00000000000302b5 2568 01d3192ca54c69fc C:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\Prepar3D.exe C:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\symmap.dll e92b9562-ec7a-42f3-b3ce-48542fac11e2 W10 64 bit - Core I7-4790K CPU 4,4 Ghz - 16 Gb RAM 2400 Mhz - GTX 1070.
August 20, 20178 yr Turn off 3D grass. Most of the time this helps. Not always. This is a known bug. A new version is in beta.
August 20, 20178 yr Author Hi darem, Thanks but in Option - World I had already disabled "Dynamic 3D Autogen Vegetation" because I installed Orbx Trees that only works by disabling it.
August 20, 20178 yr Author Thanks darem. I will disable "3D Grass" on FlyTampa. A clarification on the CTD: it happened to the first night flight while I was landing about 8 miles from LOWW's runway 34 while landing made on day 34, no CTDs appeared.
August 20, 20178 yr Author Hi darem, As you said, I put off 3D Grass on LOWW FlyTampa but the CTD has again appeared then I went to see In LOWW \ Scenery and there were all Loww-grassesxx.bgl in .off, those with the patch that allowed the installation of LOWW on P3D v4, but there were also all the loww-grassesxx.bgl of v3 and after deleting them I tried some landing nocturnal on LOWW 34 and CTDs did not show up. Thanks for giving me the information that then let me fix it these nighttime CTDs at LOWW.
