February 27, 200620 yr Is there a way to delete the scenery, and textures folder, and reinstall them afresh without having to do a total reinstall?I've got the great wall of china running through my perth area, that extends out straight into the water, and for miles and miles and miles and miles.I don't want to have to reinstall FS, as I get sick of having to reinstall all the planes etc, and all their patches.I've looked as much as I can and I still can't seem to delete the great wall, or whatever has caused it.Thanks
February 27, 200620 yr HelloThis is what you need texpand2.zipFile Description:With the proliferation of Flight Simulator add-ons which modify scenery texture files, it may occasionally be necessary to restore files originally installed by FS2004.
February 27, 200620 yr It keeps telling me that there is no disc in the drive. I've emailed the author, but if anyone else has had this problem and found a solution...
February 28, 200620 yr Sweet, thanks for the info, what about landclass etc etc etc?Textures won't get rid of the great wall :(
February 28, 200620 yr >Sweet, thanks for the info, what about landclass etc etc>etc? In order to create lanclass go to:http://www.scenery.org/design_utilities_b.htmdownload ezlc2.zip and follow the instructions.I liked very much the very rough 3d-like rocky mountain textures I saw on the screenshots. However, these textures were not applyed by default to the hills around my hometown. So I used this little tool, changed the name (actually it's a number) of the texture in question and voila! You can also use it to place towns, villages, woods...http://www.fspassengers.com/images/banner/sig/sdc8.jpg
