CTD P3dv4 - After installing ASCA

Featured Replies

I didn't realize there was a CTD forum so I figured i'd post this here after putting this in the P3d forum.  I recently started getting CTD's today and I am not sure why.  This happens when loading the sim.  Up until today I never got it.  Today I installed ASCA and this started happening.  I uninstalled it and still get the "P3d has stopped working" message and CTD.  I can't tell what is causing this because I am not technical.  I checked the log and it said this.  Any ideas?  I am hoping I don't have to uninstall everything and then install again.

You might want to check your cloud texture sizes in ASCA.  I think it defaults to 2084, I rolled my settings back to 512, really don't see a difference in clouds and much easier on the computer.  If you run ASP4, try 3 layers and see how that combination works.

Ok.. However, right now I uninstalled ASCA and I am still getting the error.  Should I install it again and see if the defaults change the error?

I do not know about that issue, but Hi-Fi Simulations (the software author) has a great support forum and I have found they respond very quickly
