September 10, 20178 yr Hello Can you please let me know if it is possible to enter custom waypoints into Leonardo's MD80 FMC? If so, how do you do it? Thanks Csaba
September 10, 20178 yr Type the name of the waypoint (or use the keyboard), go to the place where you want to insert it, it will then cause an incontinuity so click on the left hand key next to the next waypoint and then click on the left hand key next to the blank space and the waypoint should be moved up into the blank space and there be no more continuity issues. Done. I don't have the MD80 but I saw it on TV... In reality, this is the way it is done in most FMS/FMC's and figure it was done this way with the MD80. I also looked at some YouTube tutorials on how to program the MD80 FMC and couldn't find one where they inserted a waypoint but see that it can most like be done in the way I described. September 11, 20178 yr Author Dear Jim, thanks for the quick response :) I might have been a bit unclear, I meant if it is possible to create custom (i.e. waypoints whch are "not in the database") waypoints and then insert them? Regards Csaba
