September 14, 20178 yr I am to the point in my flight simulator setup where I am to install VoxATC. I am running Prepar3d v4. I attempted the VoxATC 7.x download last night and ran through the installation steps without a problem. As I started the P3d v4 simulator, unable to do the following. 1) the VoxATC panel would not open for my A2A Cessna 172 but it would open for the default fighter jet. 2) I unchecked the atc in the p3d control section. 3) I barely heard a voice saying radio check and was unable to respond. The Push to talk on my Saitek yolk switched views instead of PTT. I am very frustrated as I had it working great with FSX on my old system. What do I need to do for P3d v4? Is there a write up or instructions to install VoxATC for P3d v4 or is it still too soon? Thank you in advance.
September 14, 20178 yr For point 3, check if you have another assignment for the PTT button in P3D. If there is another event assigned, you need to delete the assignment in P3d. It looks like a conflict. If the volume of VoxATC is low, try adjusting the volume setting in voices configuration app in VoxATC folder. You can increase the volume there along with assigning voices. For point 1, have you run the indexer? Another person on this forum reported that he was able to assign the voxatc panel & start it successfully in his A2A aircraft (the bug for recognizing aircraft's through add-on.xml was fixed in voxatc 7.41).
September 15, 20178 yr Also for point 1 check if the Vox entries have been added to the relevant panel.cfg file in the simobjects/aircraft directory. if they have and don't open when you load the a/c you can open the Vox windows using the drop down "aircraft..instrument panel" menu (along the top of the screen) to open them. some of mine open automatically, others I do manually...don't know why!
