March 10, 200620 yr Hi,Has anyone purchased this package yet? I was wondering if the planes have virutal cockpits. I don't expect the level of realism that I have with my PMDG & Level-D planes but they look like they might be fun to fly. Thanks,Jim
March 10, 200620 yr volume 1 or 2? If you have any payware aircraft you might be dissapointed in the detail. Most look like they have VCs, alhtough looking at the authors, the BAE-146 might not since it is by Jon Murchison. The ATR might be ok and you can get just that as a single by looking at the downloads section.Regards, MichaelKDFWhttp://www.calvirair.com/mcpics/mcdcvabanner.jpgCalVirAir International Best, Michael KDFW
March 10, 200620 yr I don't have it, but there is one screenshot of a VC for the Saab 340.It does have some nice aircraft, and was created by some well known developers.

Jason CYOO - Formerly MYNN[br /]General Aviation Fan[br]P4 3.2Ghz, 1GB Ram, FX5900 128MB, XP SP2.[br /][br /] J R (Jason R MYNN) General Aviation Nut FSEconomy Pilot
March 10, 200620 yr Hey Jim,Some good developers participate in Abacus projects, but the Abacus projects in general are focussed on quantity vs. having the same attention to detail as a PMDG release. I wouldn't expect an "immersive" VC experience in most Abacus releases, and I'm sorry to say there's not a lot of repaint support for their products by our community--I'm not sure if there's any at all. However, if you simply like to jump in the cockpit and fly, and have a lot of aircraft types to choose from, then perhaps you would find the package worthwhile. An alternative, although it's only one aircraft, would be PMDG's 1900 C or D. There's a lot of repaint support for both aircraft, and the panels are higher fidelity without being too overwhelming.-John
March 10, 200620 yr Thanks everyone for the replies. I appreciate it! I think I'll take a look at the PMDG commuter.Jim
March 10, 200620 yr I have the PMDG Beechcraft Commuter 1900C and it's a terrific aircraft: Easy and fun to fly, good graphics, sound, 2D and VC panels, and several paints. I also have the Flight 1 ATR, which is an equally fantastic aircraft. It's a little more involved than the Beech 1900C, but not especially complicated. You can't go wrong with either aircraft.Enjoy,Bob
