October 15, 20178 yr I usually fly my PMDG 737 and 777, every now and then it would be nice to jump in a Military jet, since moving over from FSXSE where I had a few, like just flights Tornado GR1, was thinking about Skunk Works Tornado, wondered if anyone had it in P3D and how she handles or any other Military bird that works in P3D. To be honest i'm happy with my 737 and A2A 182 but would be a nice change now and then to blast a Mil around. Of course, I've tried the ones that came with P3D curious as to anything else people use, and how they perform in P3D V4.1 Thanks.
October 15, 20178 yr The models that I know of that are compatible with P3Dv4 are: Iris C-27J Miliviz F-4S/J Simworks Studio F-4 B/N Ant's Winjeel Aerosoft Ov-10 JustFlight Hawk Most of the Virtavia models (my fav is the T-34C) SimSkunk Works Harrier (in addition to the Tornado and F-194) Milviz T-38 Advanced LotusSim L-39 Iris T-6b (with some minor hacking) Dino's T-45C I don't have 4.1 yet so have not checked compatibility with that update. There are probably many more, my focus is on US Navy so these reflect that preference. My MSFS 2020 repaints: Flightsim.to - Profile of HStreet Working on MSFS 2024 versions.
October 15, 20178 yr Author Thank you, Henry, very informative, didn't realize there were so many for P3D. I've a picture somewhere in these forums showing the SW Tornado but can't remember where think I will take a look at some on your list and take a closer look. Thanks again.
October 16, 20178 yr Author So I put my hand in my wallet and got the Hawk T1 from JF. Got to say excellent flight model and no detail is missed, looks fabulous and fly's wonderfully. JF have updated most of there models for P3D just awaiting Tornado GR1 update, then can take her for a spin too. Really impressed with the Hawk, heard some good things about her and happy I got her now. In between PMDG 737 and 777 the military aircraft can be a blast in between commercial flights every now and then. Great Detail. Thought I would share some input on the T1, definitely recommend now she has been updated. Thank you.
