October 16, 20178 yr Hello, I am removing all AI aircraft with an "old" model , NOT FSX models. I found that many of my AI Aircrafts have NO Model file in their Folder? example : AI_USCG_HC144A_OCEAN_SENTRY title=HC144A_USCG_2302 model= model type=Unknown Is this accepted by P3D V4.1 and are these aircraft used in Traffic? October 16, 20178 yr if an aircraft.cfg has the entry model = without a specification, this means that the folder called "model" will be considered. Only if there are several models in the same folder, this need to be defined more precisely. Example: for the A330 plane by TFS, there is a RR, GE and a PW model. This is represented by three different model folders called "model.rr", "model.ge" and "model.pw". In the aircraft.cfg, it has then to be specified which model should be used, for example with: model = rr End of the story... October 16, 20178 yr The "model=" part of the aircraft CFG just points to where the model file is actually located. Ie, if the .MDL file itself is in the "model.RR" folder then the aircraft CFG, under that aircrafts heading would read model=RR It's the actual .MDL file that is either FS9 or FSX/P3D.
