Simple Question - Is VoxATC Worth Buying ?

Featured Replies

I remember the pro-atc thing and lost interest in it from then.

Pilot2atc or p2atc is very actively being developed and I believe AI interaction is on the to do list of the developer. Some time off though I expect.

Then I moved to VoxATC and have got rather sick and tired of no support.

I dont think its a surprise to anyone that Tegwyn doesnt frequent the forums.  To be honest I completely understand why - most enquiries would be relating to ATC or AI behaviour caused by either inbuilt sim logic or addon scenery data, neither of which are the responsibility of VoxATC.  Tegwyn has provided support and pointers in the past:

eg I had a problem getting Vox to do a proper handoff from ground to tower to radar at EGGP Liverpool.  Liverpool has split airspace over the airfield.  The issue was caused by the airfield reference point in the afcad file (provided in the UK2000 addon scenery) being directly on top of the boundary between the airspace definitions.  Not a Vox issue at all.  Just a wierd outcome from interactivity between addon scenery the sim and Vox.  It was solved by simply opening the afcad in ADE and moving the ARP ever so slightly so it was inside one of the airspace definitions.  Vox then perfectly did handoffs between frequencies.

I had to also edit the afcad for EGGP to get Vox to accurately give me real life taxi instructions.
