Dear all,

since my last update back to a few days ago the nose gear  of my PMDG 747 QOTSII is not working anymore. Everytime a steer left or right the wheel turns to the chosen direction but my plane keeps on moving straight forward. I don't know how to overcome this annoying issue. Is there anyone out there willing or capable of helping me out?

All the best

Saverio

I think this was dealt with in some much earlier post IIRC and had to something to do with the latest WIndows Update. Check the posts, you may find it.

For most of the people I know who had this issue (in P3D v4.1), it was a problem with an interaction between P3Dv4 and EZCA, for which an update to EZCA has been released.

Also, make sure auto-rudder didn't accidentally get turned on in the sim.

Regards

Hi Bob,

thanks for your feedback. I've updated EZCA as per your instructions and nose gear is behaving correctly now. Thanks for your help. EZCA is crashing with p3dv4, though. I have to find out why. But I have no time now. I'll try to fix it.

Have a nice day.

Good to know it was solved. As you had not referenced EZCA in your OP, hence my suggestion.

Just for your info. EZCA fixed by itself. This morning I launched Prepar3D and EZCA was just working fine without me interacting with the sim ... simply magic 😉 ciao from Italy 🇮🇹

Hi,

I have the same exact issue with one exception: The steering wheel does not turn at all in an outside view. I would'nt even be close to guessing it is due to EZCA2... We'll test it soon.

It's hard to believe but I couldn't even imagine EZCA 2 was responsible for that issue ... but it was, actually. Since I updtaed it to the latest version my pmdg 747 QOTSII has been back to service again. With regard to your nose gear being stuck, I really have no idea even though I suspect that EZCA 2 may be the cause of it!

Best regards

Downloaded the last EZCA2 version and indeed it solved the problem. Now the A/C can be steered . Did not check nose wheel movement (yet).
