October 22, 20178 yr I remember back in FSX and prior to P3D v4 days that the norm was we would have to quit out of the sim before loading up a new aircraft or airport scenery, changing time of day, etc. Does this still apply to P3D v4.1 and beyond? No. Even with FSX the usual advice was the reverse, ie to stay in the sim, ie load default flight and then load a new one. Edit: Advice to restarting FSX would be related to resetting the VAS I guess so that would appropriate if you were having issues there but would not be necessary with P3D 64bit. gb. YSSY. October 23, 20178 yr Still adviseable if you are using complex aircraft. Bad things can occur if you load one complex airliner after another. If you are using standard type aircraft, no more need to quit and restart, as long as you have enough RAM
