No Lower level Clouds (ASN)

Recommended Posts

After replacing Shaders HLSL, delete Shaders content, rebuild cfg, reinstall client, reinstall ASP4, everything is normal again but. I don’t know why my system is allergic for PTA? Any suggestions because the presets look very nice!

You now have correct default Shaders.

Now un- and reinstall PTA. Then try again with a V4 compatible preset.....

Okay but uninstall PTA, I don,t see an uninstall option, do I uninstall by just deleting the map PTA? That’s the way I normally uninstall PTA. Will try tmorrow. Thanks for advice.

Exactly , by deleting PTA . Than reinstall and let it make a clean Shaders backup.

Tried again to use PTA but again no low clouds, also brown colours came up again. Only version 25.02 worked normally, any other preset causes low clouds to dissapear and brown clouds and horizon. Sorry to say that the preset of  EnvShade works perfectly......

However PTA is a great program, it’s not working on my system. Perhaps a video card issue (GT970 Nvidia).?

Don't be so sure.  I had the same low cloud disappearing issue in Envshade (with ASCA/AS4).  Somebody else did as well...its on their board.  For a while I had to reload Envshade shaders before using the sim each time.  Painful!  I was trying to figure out why exiting and restarting the sim caused this problem but then suddenly the problem went away.

If anyone has a clue, I'm all ears.
