I am using VOICE but I gave up with it

any help? Please!

I am using P3D v4

Reminder

In 10.000 feet

i need hem to turn off wing light not logo light. Please!

Hi Mansour,

Please run the voice training again and be sure to follow the tutorial.

Make sure the expected phrase is displayed in the green bar.

The logo lights go off at 10,000, and they are turned on at 10,000 feet in the descent if it's dark.

Wing lights are used to spot ice on the wings.  You'd turn them on / off as required.

Is it better to use FS2Crew on the headset? My microphone is always hearing the readbacks from the FO (like "Speed checked, Flaps 20") and is then making Flaps 10 because he thought this was a new order.

Would be good to know what the best solution is.

I suspect most people use headsets.  A generic USB one is best.

However, my advice would be to:

1. Keep the mic further away from your speakers.

2. Reduce the sensitivity of your mic.

Thanks a lot! Will try to change my mic settings.
Because I don´t want my FO to set Flaps 20 on approach, ask for Flaps 30 while he is returning the Flaps to 10 :D

Hi Mansour,

You need to be more specific pls.

If it's in the manual, and you see the phrase in the "Green Bar", it should work.

Make sure you have the latest version of P3D installed (assuming you're using P3D).

If the FO can't press any buttons in the 747, it's because you don't have the latest version of P3D installed.

From the FAQs:

Question:  I have P3D V4, and the FO is not moving any of the switches or pressing buttons.

Answer:

You need to have the latest P3D V4 version.

To know what version of P3D V4 you have, right click on the Prepar3D.exe located in your main P3D folder.

Look at the "details" section / tab.

Look at the "file version".

You need to have 4.0.28.21686 or later installed.
