Using different sound ouputs

Featured Replies

Hello thanx for a very good product. Is there any ways to get xplane11 sounds for my sound speakers and the sounds from pilot2atc on the headset. Any programs that you will suggest?

I like this configuration as well.  I have found that X plane is always using sound so what I do is setup my system to output sound on speakers and start x plane.

I start p2a and change the sound to my headphones.  I believe it isn't really p2a playing sound but instead it is windows speech engine and since it only connects to current sound device when speaking you can change the output to any playback device you would like and the next time it will do so.

If you were playing sound files like background noise it may stop allowing this change.

This has been my experience.  You may only change the playback device for x plane before startup.
