November 22, 20178 yr Moderator David, Starting with P3D v3 the way FSDT scenery packages were installed changed from an entry in scenery.cfg to an entry in Add-on folders. So to get FSDT scenery to be recognised by RC etc. we use Lorby’s utility to temporarily generate a full scenery.cfg. Well that’s what I have to do. Things may be subtlety different in v4 but as long as RC correctly monitors you at FSDT airports all is well. Ray (Cheshire, England). System: P3D v5.3HF2, Intel i9-13900K, MSI 4090 GAMING X TRIO 24G, Crucial T700 4Tb M.2 SSD, Asus ROG Maximus Z790 Hero, 32Gb Corsair Vengeance DDR5 6000Mhz RAM, Win 11 Pro 64-bit, BenQ PD3200U 32” UHD monitor, Fulcrum One yoke, Fulcrum Throttle Quadrant. So does this mean if I add more FSDT scenery, I need to re run Lorby's utility, after every new install? I am ok with RC4 now in P3dv4. Apart from MCE not communicating with RC4 anymore? No PTT function, so no voice interaction. No getting the First Officer to reply to ATC. Those don't work anymore? The MCE guys know about it, but I am presuming (as are they) it's something on my install that's messed up. I blame my Eset Anti Virus. It's become very aggressive recently (new version) and even with entire P3d drive "excluded" the nannying continues? Regards. David.

I can only speak about how things are handled with P3D v3.4 as I don't own v4 yet. Each new FSDT scenery will be installed to C:\Program Files(x86) area unless changed manually. This will create an addon folder that Addon Organiser can read. In order to generate the correct files for RC4 I need to use the export feature in AO to generate a temporary scenery.cfg. After MakeRunways has finished that file can be dispensed with again using AO. That is what works for me in P3D v3.4. Others with v4 may be able to offer specific advice. If in doubt visit Lorby's sub-forum here on AvSim. Ray (Cheshire, England). Been using it for years! But then it's an amazing program that's worked from fs9 days. I wonder if there will be. RCv5? Cheers!
