Bert may be the best person to answer this but if someone else knows, please chime in. In Bert's Gauge Mod, he disabled the Avidyne EX500 so that it does not come on. I have since gone back to the panel.cfg file and renabled it so that it works. I don't remember whether a pop up 2D window for the Avidyne unit was available (there seems to be a click point on the top bezel) by clicking on the bezel or whether I could bring it up using "shift x" (one of the numerical keys). I would like to be able to replace one of the 2D pop ups, currently assigned to one of the "shift x" commands, to display the Avidyne unit. I'm assuming (yes, I know what that means) that this is possible but I don't know what file in which folder I should modify or what exactly to modify. A Google search has not led me to any success in how to do this. Could someone lead me to how to do this?

You should still have the original Panel folder.  Open the panel.cfg file there with Notepad and have a look..
