This might be a Garmin issue - if so, just say so and I will move on.... :)

But a lot of airports I fly to seem to have no Approachs, but do have an ILS Arrival. The problem is that I cannot add the Arrival to the flight plan as if I do, the flight plan does not show up on Preview. No white/magenta line anywhere. I am guessing that since there is no Approach, the system cannot join up the enroute segment to the Arrival.

Currently I don't select either Approach or Arrival and fly the arrival visually. So it is not a problem. But I think that there must be a better way around this issue.

Any tips?

Hi, this is a little beyond my knowledge of the device, but if this is supported, it must be in the Garmin GTN pilot's guide.

But a lot of airports I fly to seem to have no Approachs  Arrivals, but do have an ILS Arrival Approach ...... me thinks you mean & may help your investigations !

You are of course correct. They have an Approach (ie ILS) but no Arrival procedure.
