So I wanted to make sure that I did this right so that REX is not overriding ASCA. I downloaded REX for the airport and water textures, but want to keep using ASCA for sky colors and clouds. So I installed REX (ASCA was already installed) and put together a theme I liked. I went into ASCA and unchecked all the colors and textures and hit save. Then I went into REX and put together a theme and installed it. Now, it REQUIRES you to pick a set of cloud and sky colors in REX to load a theme, so it did install REX cloud and sky textures. So then I went back to ASCA and re-checked all of the textures and clicked save. Will ASCA override REX and give me the right textures, or since I installed them in REX will I be seeing REX clouds and sky? Please advise.

In this case, ASCA will override the REX cloud and sky textures as loong as you run it AFTER you install the REX theme. I'm not at my flight system but IIRC in the options settings in REX you can select WHICH items ( clouds, sky, etc) to install. Bottom line whichever is last will override if the options are checked.

just  to add  if  you  dont  want  to use  asca  cloud  settings  than untick  the  settings  in the  options
