Date of release

Hi,

Does anyone know if there is a release date of the next gen of nvidia gpu cards.

I plan on upgrading my gpu and possibly a new mobo next year, but don't want to go out and buy a 1080ti and then find a few weeks later a new card comes out. Which has happened to me with older generation cards.

Also if I get a 1080ti do i have to upgrade to windows 10, I'm currently running win7 pro 64bit

No set date has been given but all signs point to 1Q 2018.  1080ti works fine on Win7.

Yeah... I'm thinking that the 1070s and 1080s will drop by a hundred bucks or so when the new ones come out. Then I'll pounce on one.
