December 7, 20178 yr Just noticed that the indicated brake temp doesn't change when landing with autobrakes set to 2. Is this correct? Joe Nightingale IT Mystical Guru
December 7, 20178 yr I noticed this too. Mine doesn't change neither with manual braking Andrea De Biase Win10, 3.6Ghz, 16Gb, GTX1050Ti overclocked, P3dv4, PMDG 738-7-6, AS16, RexTD Soft Clouds, REX Airports, EZDOK, 737 Immersion, GSX Ground Services, UTLive
December 8, 20178 yr Could it be you're not waiting long enough before looking? It takes a while for the temperature to reach the sensors. Per the FCTM: Quote The optional brake temperature monitoring system may be used for additional flight crew guidance in assessing brake energy absorption. This system indicates a stabilized value approximately fifteen minutes after brake energy absorption. Therefore, an immediate or reliable indication of tire or hydraulic fluid fire, wheel bearing problems, or wheel fracture is not available. The brake temperature monitor readings may vary between brakes during normal braking operations. Marcel Durieux
December 24, 20178 yr Consider this. Are you using reverse thrust? Autobrake controls the rate of deceleration i.e. more reverse thrust, less actual wheel braking. Capt. Jason W. - Airline Captain
