FS9 Logbook

Featured Replies

For some reason my FS9 logbook has become corrupted. The message on closing FS9 is "LOG BOOK 000000000000000000000000000000 " and then a garbled message. Can anybody give me simple instructions how to correct this?

In FS9.cfg, check that it says LOG_FILE=LOGBOOK

Not much help there guys. The log book is not full up and the FS9 cfg is correct.

It looks like you're on your own then.

Are you checking the FS9.cfg.txt or the FS9.cfg file?

I already told him that, Skorna, so yet again, it didn't help.

Hi,Above LOG_FILE in the cfg is LOG_TIME=1. Is your's the same?Have you tried starting another logbook ( say LOGBOOK2 )?; and you still get the error? When you check the logbook is there anything in it?Andy.

LOG_FILE=LOGBOOK isn't going to work if his log file is something other than LOGBOOK.LOG, like "Ptolemy.LOG" or whatever name he gave it when he set the sim up to log flight time. If the FS9.cfg does say "LOG_FILE=LOGBOOK", that's probably the problem. Check out this thread. Can't hurt, might help...http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...ing_type=searchJim
