April 21, 200620 yr Hi.I am thinking about buying the FeelThere 737 PIC but I have heard that the navdata and SID/STARs are mainly for the USA and there are lost of missingwaypoints SIDs/STARs for Europe. Does anyone know if thisis true or have any experience of flying this bird in Europe.I mainly want it so I can fly the Norwegian Air Shuttleroutes so it would be a waste of money if the navdata forEurope was bad. Also anyone know if there is a database of SID/STARs like thereis for PMDG and Level D products? Thanks for any comments :-)Andy S
April 21, 200620 yr Unfortunately this is true. You'll get virtually all VORs all NDBs, but lots of waypoints, especially numeric, ale missing. It makes it a bit difficult to fly on VATSIM or to plan exact routes with SIDs / STARs.Hope it will change one day, thoguh I doubt it since the FeelThere team say there is a freeware application to create any fixes and share them and everyone's invited. I don't know, however, what they really mean. Should I myself create all missing navaids before flying somewhere? It's pointless. ;)Apart from this, it's a very enjoyable addon.Best regards,Rafal
April 21, 200620 yr HelloTaken from a recent post on the Feelthere forum:DAFIF cycle 0604 Worldwide Terminal Procedures (SIDs, STARs and IAPs) for the FeelThere 737 PIC are ready to download at my site at http://PlanePath.com/html/feelthere.html .This is a complete replacement for the FeelThere nd.mdb file and includes the 0604 FeelThere nav data. It has 1834 Airports which includes 2770 SIDs and transitions, 1449 STARs and transitions and 6411 IAPs and transitions.
April 21, 200620 yr Author Hi.Thanks for the replys.Still not sure if I should buy the 737 or not.The other options are the 737-800/900 update toPMDGs 737NG or the Flight One ATR 72-500. Any thoughts on either of these anyone? Also Ground Environment is a possibility butas I mainly fly at high altitude I wouldnt be getting my money's worth out of this would I?Cheers Andy S
