FS2004, FSUIPC, Button allocation query

Featured Replies

Hello to you all.

I trust everyone has had a splendid Christmas. Did we all get our Sim aviation toys? A quick query here... I wonder how many spouses surprised us with an aircraft, scenery or utility, or did we surprise them with the Christmas purchase??? LOL

Anyway, I am looking for a rapid response as I think this should be easy.

In another post I was advised to use FSUIPC to set up my Saitek controls, largely to set up two different aircraft (Twin and Four engines) In doing this, I cannot find three commands to link to buttons.

1. Pushback. I normally assign to throttle 1 button 17.  What command in the FSUIPC list is for pushback?

2 and 3. I use FS2crew for IFly737 and they tell me to assign pilot to Propellor De-ice, and, Cabin crew/Ground crew to Propellor sync. These are not in FSUIPC, at least as far as I can see. Are there specific alternatives that will activate those commands? Do I have to reconfigure(?) FS2Crew to accommodate FSUIPC?

This should be an "easy can" for the veteran FSUIPC users out there I think.

Incidently, I have owned FSUIPC for about 10 years now and have never used it before. I believe I have a lot of experimenting to do LOL.

Thanks in advance guys and may your New Year be everything you hope it to be.

Regards, and probably a final "THANK YOU" to all who have helped me in 2017, and to all who have helped anyone or  contributed  to AVSIM throughout 2017.

Cheers

OS Win 10 Pro 64bit. Simulators ... FS2004/P3Dv4.5/Xplane.DCS/Aeroflyfs2...MSFS to come for sure.

Look for these:

TOGGLE_PROPELLER_DEICE

TOGGLE_PROPELLER_SYNC

TOGGLE_PUSHBACK

You will need SELECT_1  and SELECT_2 if you want to turn left or right during pushback.

edetroiut,

Thank you mate.

That is so logical and intuitive ... look under "T" for Pushback or Prop deice and/or Prop sync.

That does, however, solve my problem and I thank you very much. Not the first time you have helped me out either. Happy new year mate with gratitude as an attitude.

Regards

Tony
