Engines failing randomly

Featured Replies

There is a strange bug happening here, and i can't quite remember if it started after the upgrade to prepar 4.1 or if it started with the last update from PMDG.

The bug is: I'm using the plane normally, it doesn't matter if i'm flying or on the ground, whebn suddenly the engines just cut all the thrust, like it was turned off, and after a few seconds all goes back to normal.

This happens randomly, and already happened in multiple flights i've done (Even on a livestream i did yesterday).

These are screenshots from the livestream the moment the problem happened

Hi Pablo,

It looks like your engines don't completely shut down.  Possibly a spike from your throttle hardware, or you are accidentally touching the throttle lever(s) when they are at a minimum setting (throttle lever position can be very different from thrust set by autothrottle, but if you move the lever(s), then the thrust will momentarily go to throttle lever position)?

Do you have any mixture axis controller assigned in P3D? If so might be a spike from your mixture controller.

It's usually this. Good call Pedro.
