What is Obrix Vector? If you mean Orbx Vector the last versions are way more optimized, but you have more objects to render in the sim, so more demanding to your system, some options are recommended to disable!

If you enable beaches and just check roads without anything else underneath you should not see performance drop. And it still looks good.

After that is just test what is acceptable to you what is not. To me, the shorelines alone make it worth it.
