help with hat switch

I'm at a complete loss here. I just bought a GoFlight 737 yoke. The yoke itself works great, the problem is the hat switch will not allow me to look/move around in the cockpit. I have the hat switch set to View (pan) with the slider all the way to the right, but the view does not move at all. I know the hat switch isn't broken because it is recognized by FSUIPC when I push the button. I have tried with the joystick enabled and disabled. What am I missing?

Probably some sort of conflict, or it isn't set up properly in the sim (set up as an actual hat and not an 8-button switch, for example).

I only use FSUIPC for my throttle quadrant.  Try setting your yoke up using your sim (FSX/P3d) where View(pan) is the correct command.  This is what I do and do not have any problems with the hat switch in View(pan).

In P3d, how many controllers are you showing?  Check each Controller to make sure that the Hat Switch is not assigned.

In FSUIPC open Buttons, move your hat switch and let us know what it says?

It will just be a matter of checking each Controller (joystick) until the conflict is found.

Controllers I have Mouse Yoke, Mouse Look & GoFlight Yoke. GoFlight is the only one with the hat switch assigned to it.

FSUIPC/Buttons & Switches it recognizes when I move the hat switch up/down/left/right but nothing is assigned.
