VOR not working when in GPS mode

I am using the RXP 430 in teh A2A 172 and when i installed it a couple of days ago. all worked very well.

I am not sure what happened but when I switch the 430 into VLOC it all works fine.  If i click the CDI to go to GPS it is not working.  The switch on th panel shows GPS but my VOr isnt working. 

 

I know I may not be giving enoug info.  Sorry.  I did look at the .ini file and see it has true for the CDi to switch the NAV/GPS button.  Ive been trying to get this myself for two days now. ugh lol

In GPS mode the GNS unit follows a GPS flight plan.

When you talk about your VOR, do you mean your HSI???
