I wonder what the deal is with F1...

Everyone else has long since released V4 versions of their products (and version 11.1 for X-Plane, for that mater).

Do they not have any developers or are they just not interested?

Their developers were busy working on their recently released G500/600, now that has been finished their working on the Mustang and King Air B200 for P3D v.4x according to their forum.
