February 20, 20188 yr Had an uncle who was loadmaster on a B36 that in the late1950's was converted into a mid-air refueling tanker. One of only two that were so converted if I recall. February 20, 20188 yr Trivia: On of my CAF buddies was a crew chief on the B36. Talk about a guy with some stories. :) I believe this is the B36 that was on display at the ol' Great Southwest Airport in Ft. Worth. blaustern I Earned My Spurs in Vietnam
