May 24, 200620 yr Anyone got a list, or know a way to filter the search in FS9, to find floatplane bases?
May 24, 200620 yr As far as I know there's neither a list, nor a filter, which is very frustrating. The most effective way I've found in order to get from place to place in a floatplane is to examine the flight planner map view. All the floatplane bases are marked with 'anchor' symbols, you might have seen them while looking at the map and wondered what they were. Or, perhaps you've already discovered them. It's far from ideal, but that's it in my experience. Let's hope they improve the situation in FSX.Good luck.Mike. Mike Beckwith
May 24, 200620 yr Have you tried the search engine in the file library? Easy enough...a little misleading, though:fs9seabases.zip...only the U.S. listings... Rick
May 24, 200620 yr I've created AFCADs which put all the seaplane bases in New England USA (CT, MA, ME, NH, RI, VT) back in the water if you are using Ultimate Terrain USA. I plan on releasing it on my site in the next couple of days. It's not all the seaplane bases, as a couple of them were already in the water, but I tried to search for all those bases which were not in the water and corrected them. It was about 54 of them I think.Thomas[a href=http://www.flyingscool.com] http://www.flyingscool.com/images/Signature.jpg [/a]I like using VC's :-) Tom Perry
