February 22, 20188 yr Hello, I’m flying the Delta repaint, I have delta selected as my callsign and a flight number entered at the select aircraft screen, and ATC is referring to me as MDDG4. doesn’t appear anywhere in the aircraft.cfg file. thanks for any help. February 22, 20188 yr I found this too. I'm actually in the process of submitting a bug report about it on the website. I think it may have something to do with the "Reload CFG" option in the menu. Cameron Rich
February 22, 20188 yr Can't you just edit the aircraft.cfg to make sure that atc_airline=Delta? i7-13700KF, 32gb DDR4 3200, RTX 4080, Win 11, MSFS 2024

Ok,glad it’s not just me. 2 minutes ago, Dave_YVR said: Can't you just edit the aircraft.cfg to make sure that atc_airline=Delta? Yes that is in the aircraft.cfg file. It doesn't have anything to do with the aircraft.cfg, at least not the one in the main aircraft folder. I'm positive of that. I've double and triple checked it to make sure there's not a bad atc_airline or atc_flight_number entry. I even checked the SimObjects folder under AppData\Roaming to see if something was getting changed. I'm pretty certain it has to do with the "Reload from CFG" option. Cameron Rich
February 22, 20188 yr I had the same issue on the maiden voyage. Make sure you set your airline in the vehicle selection as "Delta" - mine was set to "Delta Airlines" which my editvoicepak did not have a file for and thus it said MDDG4.
February 22, 20188 yr Author Hmm, just reloaded the sim now ATC is correctly calling me by the delta callsign...go figure Dave Current System (Running at 4k): ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-F, Ryzen 7800X3D, RTX 5090, 55" Samsung Q80T, 64GB DDR5 6000 RAM, EVGA CLC 280mm AIO Cooler, Brunner CLS-E NG Yoke, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS & Stick, Thrustmaster TCA Quadrant & Add-on, VirtualFly Ruddo+, TQ6+ and Yoko+, GoFlight MCP-PRO and EFIS, Skalarki FCU and MCDU

When you load an IFR flight plan into the flight planner, it reverts to MDDG4. See for yourself here: https://youtu.be/fhnw7i7w-QE Cameron Rich

Lol, ok but the aircraft.cfg is where the sim gets your Aircraft callsign info from, and has nothing to do with anywhere in the AppData roaming folder. If anything maybe the "reload from CFG" option is changing the entry back to an incorrect one. i7-13700KF, 32gb DDR4 3200, RTX 4080, Win 11, MSFS 2024

But when you change the atc_id, atc_airline, or atc_flight_number in the sim, it's stored in the state.cfg in AppData\Roaming. That's what I was referring to. And I know it's not the aircraft.cfg, because I'm looking at it right now and Ctrl-F doesn't find MDDG4 anywhere in the file. Edit 2: I just loaded the aircraft again and the callsign was just MDDG4 again. So, I'm really not sure what's wrong. I've submitted a bug report about it anyway. Cameron Rich

February 26, 20188 yr Author I contacted support and got this response: "the call sign is what you enter in the Route Planner page of Load Manager." Sure enough there it is, I've never really spent time on that page so I didn't realize it was there.
