Hardware configuration For X-Plane 11

Featured Replies

I would like to get opinions (regarding running X-Plan 11):

Intel Core i5 7500 3.4Ghz 6MB

8MB DDR4 2133Mhz

GTX 1050 Ti 4GB

Thanks

Danny

The 50 series cards are budget for a reason. You’d be much better off with a 970 if you can’t afford a 1070 or 1080 (and who can with this crazy mining price surge?).  The i5 7500 is a good processor. Get the K version and overclock to 4.2 easily and safely. XP is still CPU dependent for some graphics calls, and raw clock speed trumps chip architecture.

I run XP nicely (w the right but still good settings) with an i5 2500K At 4.4 ghz and a 4gb 970.

It will run it at medium settings at 1080p.  With addons you'll want more ram and a better video card.  Look at the 1060 6GB

I'd agre with that - older CPU but very good - with an overclock your x plane would be very enjoyable
