March 7, 20188 yr I'm wondering if it's possible to do the following with the latest version: Scenario: In some time after departure you get an aircraft failure. You want to enter a hold to work out the relevant checklists. Is it possible to request ATC to enter such a hold? Next, while still in the hold (or maybe during a flight - doesn't matter), you decide that you need to return to the departure airport. No need for declaring emergency. Is it possible?
March 7, 20188 yr Commercial Member Holding and diversion requests are not currently supported. However, if you want to return to the departure airport, or divert to another airport, you can request vectors to an approach at that airport. For example: "<CallSign> request radar vectors for the ILS to runway 35L at Kilo Delta Foxtrot Whiskey" and you should get vectors to that runway for an ILS approach. Dave
