Saitek Pro Flight Yoke aileron axis problem
Bugor replied to Darren1's topic in Hardware Controllers: Joysticks/Yokes | Throttle Quads | Rudder Pedals | Drivers etcI have the same problem from time to time. The fix that is working for me: Once you get this effect, pull out the yoke usb from the computer and put it back. Don't pause the game - just do it. This always fixes it.

Fill-In your Wants for the future versions of X-Plane10...
I think he's referring to the world traffic plugin: http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?showtopic=60922&st=0 The latest video preview is on page 7 which is pretty cool.

PMDG for X-plane 10?
OK, that is still the old info. As I understand, there is still no evidence that PMDG is doing their 747 for X-Plane...

PMDG for X-plane 10?
Why do you think they doing 747 for X-Plane? Last time I checked they were "investigating the possibility" and did not mention the possible aircraft that they were considering to convert. Is there a new info that I missed? Thanks.

A Good Track IR 5 profile?
I actually like TIR in x-plane much more than in FSX.

X-plane 10.10 B6 Released!
Thank you Aaron and Tom for the info. The importance of the ATC and AI for flying airliners was discussed here so many times... Hopefully, someone at LR will be able to persuade Austin to continue working on it... :-) I suspect, that his opinion is to use those online ATCs. Yes, they are good and realistic in many aspects, but at the same time they are not an option for me and for many other (if not the most) people for many good reasons. Thanks again.

X-plane 10.10 B6 Released!
Tom, Do you know what are the current plan for the ATC? X-plane becomes better and better, but without a reliable ATC it's quite "difficult" to fly the airliners. LR does not say anything officially about their plans on the ATC development. In fact, they don't even mention it anymore in any their blogs or announcements. That makes me worry that they are just not going to work on it anymore. Could you please let us know what are the ATC plans? Thanks a lot.

In-Depth 777 - Developers Interviewed
That would be great to have more and more professionally done airliners in xplane as I only fly airliners. However, without properly working ATC, I can't fly them. LR is quiet about their ATC these days, that is very suspicious... And the on-line ATC is not an option for me for many reasons...

Beta 10.10 is out!
Hmm.... Nothing about ATC and AI ... Too bad... :-(

CRJ owners, can you please repeat this flight test (static and dynamic longitudinal stability)
Yes, I also have this problem and the plane is not usable for me because of that. However, I did not try the suggested xplane parameters changes by that user... Still not sure if the OP here have the same issue...

There is a discussion on the similar problem in their support forum. This problem happens with autopilot on, but probably can be somehow related... http://forums.x-pilot.com/index.php/topic/3106-progressive-pitch-oscillations-in-cruise-with-ap-on/ Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

Feedback from today's Teamspeak TownHall
Is it possible to read the interview somewhere? Thanks.

iPad/Iphone Problems Post Update
The full version button is supposed to load the normal web page version instead of mobile version. It will look the same as on your desktop computer.

iPad/Iphone Problems Post Update
Any update on the full version for the iPad? The most annoying thing in the mobile version is that it's not possible to mark a particular forum as read. I can only mark entire avsim as read... That's another reason for me to use the full version on iPad, but it's still not working...

VoxATC 6.06 update?
Once I installed that 6.06 per the topic below, I stopped getting any descend instraction at all - I had to request it myself. So I'm back to 6.05 and everything is normal again.

Sorry but ATC ....
Why do you think VOXATC is considered for x-plane? I use it with FSX and like it very much. Can't fly without it... :-)

Anybody using OpenScenery and OSM2XP?....OMG!
Does anybody know if this tool will generate airport buildings?I understand it depends on what data is available in OSM. But will I get airport buildings if this data available? Or airports can't be populated with this tool? Thanks.

3 dimensional clouds, really?
This dome effect happens to me also. Could not find a way to fix it in settings...

What are you looking Forward to?
1. Airports. I need airports. This is a very big deal for me. I just can't fly into or from an empty airports with only runways. With the latest airports update from aerosoft it becomes reality. These airports are great, especially the smaller ones. So now I can start flying at least those few airports, hoping more of them will come...2. Fix AI airplanes behavior. ATC improvements. In those new nice airports, it's too bad to see how poor AI planes move on the ground. The don't park at the gates, they go through buildings, they don't care much about taxiways and other aircrafts.3. Need more pmdg style aircrafts.I'm going to buy that CRJ200, as we now have airports to fly into/from.Looking forward for IXEG 737 and whatever it will be from PMDG.4. Fixed cities.5. Seasons.

Thank you! That should work...

One Good Reason Why You Sould Use Prepar3D...........
LM is not a software company and I don't believe they are working on this sim to sell it to us and make the profit from these sells. Most likely, they are working on it to train real pilots on their real planes. Once they finish working on it, I think they will make it "for internal use only" or they will start selling it to other big companies for pilot training, but not us, simmers. As LM is working for the military industry I don't think they will keep it open for everybody. But, now they are still in process and the P3D is not much different from FSX and they don't mind to have some "free" beta testers. That's why they allow us to buy it for 10$ per month. Per their quote: " If you are a pilot, simulation user, student, whatever and want to use it for familiarization, training, taxiing over bugs then go for it". That's it - for familiarization and taxiing over bugs. Also, per ORBX, LM contacted them to help with scenery. This is because LM interested in scenery at this point. And probably they are not interested in PMDG planes, as they are going to create their own - for training pilots for LM own military (or whatever) planes only and not 737 or 777.Just my thoughts, nothing else.Dmitry.

No 3rd party content in Flight
Probably the regions will be like Grand Canyon, Paris, Rocky mountains and not like Europe or North America...If the mission is to collect coins or do aerobatics, there is no point to sell you the whole Europe...

Saitek yoke and profiler
Happy holidays everybody!I'm having problems with the profiler software for Saitek yoke.I can create a profile and assign the key strokes to the yoke buttons, but when try to test them in the Test window the buttons do nothing. So the software does not translate the yoke button press to the assigned keybord keys. The buttons don't work in FSX and don't work in a notepad (as a suggested method of testing the key assignments).I've reinstalled drivers and the profiler - nothing helps.I know I can use FSUIPC, but as I understand it will not allow me to use the Mode 1,2,3 yoke functionality, so only one set of buttons will be available.Did anybody have this problem? Or maybe some alternatives to the Saitek profiler? I could not find any solution in the Internet. I found a couple posts somewhere about the same problem but no solutions.I have windows 7 64 bits and I use the 64 bits profiler...

Using FSX controls in X-Plane.
The main problem I have is to rotate knobs in Virtual Cockpit.I must use mouse to point to the knob and I have to zoom to it. So the problem is that I have to use mouse to point => keyboard to zoom => mouse to rotate the knob. Too many moves for a simple action that often needs to be done fast and precise (set exact values for speed and/or altitude).Using the mouse wheel allows you to do all these actions without leaving the mouse and moving your hand around.I never used X-Plane before - am I missing something? How do you guys rotate those knobs when flying airliners especially on approach and landing?
