April 12, 201214 yr I love x-plane and desperate to get started with it but everytime I load up x-plane, ATC interaction reminds me why I perfer to fly FSX or fly around with x-plane without ATC til boredom. I just cant stand mouse click readback and listen to some computer generated voice talk for me. Why didn't the programmers incorperate key presses and disable pilot voice? It would had allowed us to atleast to use software such as Gamecommander or VAC to interact with ATC in a more realistic manner. being a avid fan of ATC and speech command, thank god that VOXATC is being considered for x-plane or else I would never get of the ground with it and would simply stick with FSX. If keypress is implemented could someone please point me to it please?
April 12, 201214 yr Hi, Hopefully the ATC is a work in progress, I don't fly XP10 with ATC at all. By the way the voices are WAV files stored in your X-Plane installation and I just want to change the primary pilot voice. Hope to have more voices as well. Alexander Colka
April 14, 201214 yr thank god that VOXATC is being considered for x-plane Why do you think VOXATC is considered for x-plane? I use it with FSX and like it very much. Can't fly without it... :-)

Can't fly without it... :-) +1 Nothing out there approaches reality, but VOX is still the best, I either use that or nothing. Hadn't heard it was being done for XP but that's good news if true!! April 15, 201214 yr I just cant stand mouse click readback ... ... If keypress is implemented could someone please point me to it please? I am not sure if I correctly understand your problem, but in my system (XP-10 under Win 7 64), I can use the "Enter" key to open the ATC windows and then, with the cursor arrows (up, down) of my keyboard, I can select the desider item on the menu. In some cases, for example when you only have an option, that is already selected in the ATC window, and I only have to press "Enter" to activate the readback. Am I missing something about your request? A.
