April 13, 201214 yr Hello, is there really a 6.06 VoxATC update? I went to the site and it says 6.05 is the current version. http://www.voxatc.com/Home.aspx/Download Thanks Gerry
April 13, 201214 yr Gerry, There is. It deals mostly with a problem concerning early descents. There is a thread down towards the bottom of this page that contains the link for the update.
April 13, 201214 yr Author Thank you Mike. Its a great program, wish I could find it for FS9 (win7 64bit)
April 13, 201214 yr Hey Guy's I don't think the update is that important unless you have had issues with early descents. I personally have no issue with that myself and thats the only reason i think it's not been put up on the website as it does'nt seem to effect everyone. But then the site does'nt look like its been updated in a while with anything. I'm interested to see what the next update will offer us in the coming months. Al traffic fix please :Praying: . Kind Regards Simon.
April 13, 201214 yr Thank you Mike. Its a great program, wish I could find it for FS9 (win7 64bit) Gerry, You're welcome. I agree, I'd like to see a version for FS9. Rumor has it that VOX is being adapted for X-Plane also. That would be great as I'm just starting to mess around with X-Plane 10.
April 15, 201214 yr Once I installed that 6.06 per the topic below, I stopped getting any descend instraction at all - I had to request it myself. So I'm back to 6.05 and everything is normal again.
May 15, 201214 yr There is a thread down towards the bottom of this page that contains the link for the update. Where!?! I can't seem to find it. Ole D.

October 11, 201213 yr Once I installed that 6.06 per the topic below, I stopped getting any descend instraction at all - I had to request it myself. I have just installed voxatc again after a long while. I also noticed I'm on vs 6.06 and I get little to no descent instructions.I'm basicallty told to descend to say 6,000 ft and that is it. :(
October 11, 201213 yr MYB Did you update your navigraph data and run the indexer? Every once in a while VOX will have a brain fart and forget to tell you to descend. I just had it happen on a flight from ABQ to DAL.
October 11, 201213 yr I have aerosoft navdata pro and airac is current .I ran the indexer earlier yes but then I uninstalled voxtatc and reinstalled vs 6-05 just to make sure I installed with admin rights.I have to test again and see if I vox forgets about me again.
October 11, 201213 yr I tested again and again atcv fogets about to me.I did try the trick Akila suggested and it kind of works. disable vox and enable it.It takes awhile to get renabled again tho.
October 11, 201213 yr I thought this was a feature not a bug When I reach the TOD calculated by Aivlasoft EFB I contact center: "... Request descent". Atc has then requested me to descent to a specific altitude. Most often than not, this altitude is effected by the STAR's first altitude restriction. If I don't remember the correct phrase during cruise, I press 0 and from the menu, I then select Request lower (for descent/arrival or similar). This gives me the correct phrase to contact ATC with.
