747 V3 P3d V4.2

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Background,

A while since iv uploaded on here. My main problem is my PMDG 747 crashes when I try to load either PF3 or RC4- the fault occurs when I click to connect either programme to P3D, now this fault ONLY happens with PMDG 747 as I have tested with other aircraft and the programmes run smoothly and I do not have problems which makes me think it is a PMDG fault- if I load a default aircraft and then PMDG 747 the problem goes. I have also experienced CTD inflight also. I read that with the latest update other users are experiencing CTD and didnt know if there was theme.

Spec

P3d V4.2

FSUIPC5 5.124

PMDG 747 V3 latest update

Latest updates on PF3 and I know but... RC4 (I installed PF3 first)

Simconnect operational (latest version I believe)

Same here...any program that tries to use FSUIPC to put a text window into P3D v4.2 seems to have this problem with the 747.  As soon as I attempt to connect, it goes to a spinning circle for a few seconds and then unceremoniously dumps me to the desktop, in my case without any evidence of the crash in the Windows events log or FSUIPC log.  If I load a default acft, then start RC4 or PF3, then switch to the 747, it works OK for the rest of the session.  Have not had any CTDs doing it this way.

No similar problem using RC4/PF3 etc with any other aircraft, including the other PMDG birds, in P3D v4.2

Regards
